- Do not have accurate measuring scales.
- Have Fence Bars that are too short.
- Do not have adequate width ripping capacity.
- Require frequent re-alignment.

VEGA SAW FENCE MAINTENANCE The very careful design of the Vega Fence requires little maintenance. For smoothest operation of any saw, however, we recommend using WD-40 or light oil on the table surface and the guide rails. Occasional careful inspection clean ing of the Front Rail and inside of the Fence Head with sol vent is recommended. Does anyone know if Craftsman still offers the 24/24 Align-A-Rip fence? I've contacted Sears Parts and they want my model number. I'm not where I can get it for about two weeks and it will show a 12/24 like what came on it.
